Terms of Service

By using Inkzi, you agree to these Terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement or have any consent required by local law.

Inkzi provides Chinese writing practice, printable worksheets, HSK vocabulary tools, and sentence blocks. With an account, you can save worksheets and sync learning progress, practice sessions, and personal word blocks.

You can sign in with a one-time email code, Google, or X. Your first successful sign-in creates an account if one does not already exist. No separate registration or Inkzi password is required. Once signed in, you can optionally add a passkey in Account → Settings and use it for later sign-ins on a supported device and browser. A passkey signs in to the account it was registered with; it does not create a new account.

In Account → Settings, you can connect Google or X to your existing account, including a provider account with a different verified email. You must control the accounts you connect. A provider account already connected to another Inkzi account cannot be transferred through this feature.

• Keep access to your email, connected provider accounts, and devices or password managers holding your passkeys secure. Do not share sign-in codes. You can remove a passkey in Account → Settings and continue using email codes or a connected provider.
• Take reasonable steps to protect access to your account and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. This does not make you responsible for failures in Inkzi’s own security or remove rights you have under applicable law.
• Google and X provide their own authentication services under their respective terms and privacy policies.

Inkzi is currently free to use. In the future, some or all features may become paid, or we may introduce paid plans or subscriptions. We will explain the affected features, prices, payment terms, and the date of any change in advance. Your existing account will not automatically become a paid subscription, and you will not be charged unless you separately agree to a paid offer. You may decline that offer and stop using the affected features or delete your account. Reasonable anti-abuse limits may apply.

Signed-in activity is saved to your account when synchronization succeeds. Offline or interrupted activity may remain on your device until it can sync. Progress indicators are learning aids, not certifications of proficiency. Dictionary entries, pinyin, stroke guides, and generated materials may contain errors. Review materials before relying on them for teaching or assessment.

Do not break the law, infringe intellectual-property rights, disrupt the service, bypass security controls, or resell the service and its branding as your own product.

You retain rights you have in the text and content you provide. You give Inkzi a limited, non-exclusive permission to process, store, and display that content only as needed to provide previews, printing, saving, and synchronization, including through the service providers described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for using it lawfully. Subject to third-party licences, generated worksheets may be used for personal learning, tutoring, and ordinary classroom teaching.

You can permanently delete your account in Account → Settings by confirming your email address. For security, you may need to sign in again.

Deletion removes your account, sign-in sessions, connected provider records, registered passkeys, saved worksheets, vocabulary, writing history, and saved learning state from the active service. It cannot be undone through Inkzi. A later email or provider sign-in creates a new account rather than restoring deleted progress. Previously registered passkeys can no longer sign in.

Deleting Inkzi does not delete your Google or X account, data held independently by those providers, or files you have downloaded or printed. The Privacy Policy explains local storage and backup limitations.

We aim to keep Inkzi usable and reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free learning materials, or compatibility with every device, browser, or printer. Third-party sign-in and data services may also be temporarily unavailable. Keep your own copies of work you need to retain.

Inkzi remains responsible as required by applicable law. These Terms do not exclude or limit liability for intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. They do not remove mandatory consumer rights or rights under data-protection law.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a security threat, unlawful activity, serious misuse, or a legal requirement. Restrictions should be proportionate. Where lawful and practicable, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact us about a mistake.

We may update Inkzi and these Terms to reflect changes in functionality, security, or legal requirements. Material changes will be explained through the service before they take effect where practicable; urgent security or legal changes may need to take effect sooner. We will obtain a separate agreement where required by law. You may stop using Inkzi and delete your account at any time.

These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law applicable in your country of habitual residence. Nothing here restricts your right to bring a claim before a competent court or contact a regulator.

For a service complaint, describe the issue and the outcome you are seeking using the contact below. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
